Can We Communicate Even Further with the Telegraph?

-People still felt that communication was limited since the telegraph only worked in the U.S. 

-If the U.S. wanted to send messages to Europe, they would still have to send them by ship which would take weeks

-Messages were somewhat outdated by the time they reached their destination.
